A Georgia man, Dylan Johnson, called 911 to report a possible break-in at his home, but the dispatcher appeared distracted, seemingly placing a McDonald's order during the call.
Johnson's wife, home alone with their infant, heard someone banging on doors and windows.
After multiple attempts to reach 911, he finally connected with a dispatcher who was overheard saying, "Uh-huh … McGriddle … uh-huh …" before addressing Johnson's concerns.
Chatham County Chairman Chester Ellis acknowledged the incident, stating such behavior "should never happen" and indicated the matter was under review.
