FIFA is getting ready to put on its first-ever World Cup final halftime show next year…and the soccer organization is teasing they could have a major artist in mind.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino shared details about next year’s World Cup during an interview on “Good Day New York” recently.
Co-host Rosanna Scotto prodded Infantino that it’d be a good idea to have Drake take on the halftime show.
“So we can create a bit of a rivalry? That’s a good idea. Actually, Drake was with us when we announced the host cities. I should have his number saved somewhere,” Infantino responded, seemingly referencing the fact that Kendrick Lamar performed at the recent halftime show for Super Bowl LIX…including his song “Not Like Us,” a diss track aimed squarely at Drake.
