Cash Cobain is opening up about the highs and lows of his newfound success in Elliott Wilson's brand-new series.

The sexy drill pioneer appeared in the debut episode of the Elliott Wilson Experience on Thursday, August 29. Wilson taps in with Cobain on the night before his new album Play Cash Cobain. dropped. During their conversation, the Bronx native reflects on his rise in Hip-Hop and how the women in his family played a role in his career. Midway through, the "Fisherrr" rapper also touched on the criticism surrounding his collaboration with J. Cole, "Grippy."

"No one understands from the outside looking in what we really go through," Cobain said in Cole's defense.

"You think that n***a really care about a verse that y'all talkin' about?" he continued. "He probably dealing with some other s**t right now, but he probably got some fire s**t coming for y'all... What you wanted him to bar you up all day? Come on, bro."

The song is a remix of Cobain's previous track "Dunk Contest," which appears on his latest album. When he dropped Cole's version earlier this year, fans complained about certain bars ("She said she was gay until I slayed, now she strictly d*ckly") and claimed it was his worst verse ever — especially after Cole bowed out of the Big 3 melee between him, Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Cobain also discussed who else he wants to work with in the future. He plans to work with "everybody" but one artist in particular he wants to connect with is Pharrell Williams.

"I just want to play Pharrell some music," he told Elliott. "I want to have a conversation like 'yo you hear the s**t that I'm doing?"
